Product Care

Our artificial food pieces are handmade decorative props. They are not edible and are not toys. Please handle and store them carefully to help preserve their appearance.

Materials and construction vary between pieces. Some designs use polystyrene, plaster of Paris, paint and decorative craft components. Please refer to the individual product description or ask us about a particular piece before ordering. We do not apply a single material percentage to every product.

Keep your piece indoors in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and water. Store it covered when not in use and keep it upright where practical. Support the base when moving it and avoid pressure on delicate decorations. Keep it away from children and pets.

Remove dust gently with a feather duster or a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not soak, wash, scrub or use chemical cleaning products. Ask us before using any other cleaning method.

Dropping, crushing, exposure to unsuitable heat or moisture, harsh cleaning and other misuse can damage a piece. Damage caused by these events, or by normal wear, is not in itself a manufacturing fault. We will consider the circumstances of any problem rather than apply a blanket exclusion.

Minor handmade variations may occur, but every item must still match its description and meet applicable legal quality requirements. Your rights concerning faulty, damaged or incorrectly described goods apply whether or not a separate commercial warranty is offered. Nothing in this guidance excludes or restricts rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
